Dance, music, poetry & art offerings as a collective prayer for One Earth

22 for 1 is a global collaborative dance, music, poetry and art prayer project for the Earth, both on and off the screen, calling for another level of collective awakening. 

Weaving together our artistic prayers in community, we gather in movement meditation, celebration and inspired action, offering heartfelt messages and stories through our most resonant form(s) of expression. Uniting in diversity to remember, honour and care for the Earth. Becoming one with and as Nature.

We invite you to join us in strengthening both love and care for the Earth by sharing in the universal languages of movement, song and other expressive arts, as well as by becoming part of the global community, offering your gifts to inspire sustainable action.

You can do so by submitting your creative piece which will be shown on our social media platforms — instagram & facebook — with a link to your profile(s) and at our in-person events around the world, and by joining us at our 22 for One Earth gatherings.

How to submit

  1. Feel into your INTENTION – the heartfelt message or prayer you want to share for the Earth.

  2. Choose your most resonant form(s) of EXPRESSION – a creative expression you would like to use to communicate your prayer: dance, song, spoken word, poetry or art

  3. Prepare your PIECE of creation following the guidelines below:

This is a volunteer-based project, and a DANCEmandala initiative.

DANCE: 55-seconds horizontal video with or without music, your intention recorded as voice over poetry or/& written down to accompany your movement, mp4 format, standard aspect ratio 16:9 (1080p (HD): 1920 x 1080).

MUSIC: 55-seconds mp3 file of you singing your song for the Earth or horizontal video of you singing, mp4 format, standard aspect ratio 16:9 (1080p (HD): 1920 x 1080)

SPOKEN WORD: 55-seconds horizontal video of you looking straight into the camera + recorded voice sharing your poetry as voiceover, mp4 format, standard aspect ratio 16:9 (1080p (HD): 1920 x 1080)

PAINTING/ART: a high quality photo of your art in JPEG of PDF format for printing + your written intention (up to 200 words) to support your art.
